The Core Hypothesis
The Academy's working model describes a sequence through which attention may bring new meaning into existence.
Possibility → Attention → Coupling → Synthesis → Emergence → Creation
This is a research direction, not a finished doctrine. The important point is that creative novelty may arise not from a single isolated element, but from relationships formed among previously existing elements.
Attention selects which elements are brought into proximity within conscious processing. If attention selects particular elements and permits them to interact, synthesis may occur between elements that otherwise remain isolated.

Open Question
This sequence is one of two models in the Academy's corpus. A second, more detailed model exists that extends the sequence further. The relationship between the two models is an open problem that has not yet been resolved.
